This architecture prof of mine had the coolest house (always transforming;he let students work on it, design parts, add on parts) and it was black. Black against the rolling fields of the piedmont of Virginia, which is often a straw color. It was really striking without being shocking. I loved it.
and i know my camera is the suckiest in town. i want this one. so if anyone out there is in a charitable mood..i'm just sayin'.
