    There's no issue here. It's simple realy...

    One is your pied a terre in Manhattan for when you jet up for shopping excursions and the other your beach house in Myrtle Beach where you host family weekends.

    They can't both have the same decor can they?

    I love the first one. Something about a certain amount of 'clutter' in a bedroom to make it feel like a cozy cave. Maybe it's a Freudian womb thingy.

    I can relate...my house is a bit over the top, but when we travel and stay somewhere that is gloriously pure white and minimal...I'm in heaven!
