thanks and tongue kisses...

thanks to everyone who offered advice. it is so helpful and i am beyond appreciative. special thanks to urban sardines and wanderings of a wannabe for the links to love. so now i am narrowed down to 2 color choices...this one (only shinier and with a tinge more peacock/sapphire)...

or this: shiny orange and bright...

    You know I love me some blue but that orange is so fun! I would smile every time I saw it! You've got the guts, go for it!!

    I like the sapphire idea. If it's a glossy/shiny finish then it will really pop and be a conversation starter. You can always add some splashes of brighter colors with accessories if needed. Have fun!

    I vote for the orange. Not a safety cone orange but more of a burnt orange...

    i think primary orange is almost predictable. but burnt orange IS a good idea. if it were my buffet i would opt for the glossy sapphire. you just dont see that enough. if the room were already dark then i would go with glossy grey, but only because i am addicted to grey.

    sapphire IS the new black. saw some amazing shutters & front door in that color yesterday...orange & coral are already overdone.

    Typically, I would have said the orange for sure. However... I'm actually thinkin the sapphire blue. Really like it!

    The funny thing is my husband put the brakes on my orange dresser idea and now I am back to glossy white! If you end up doing orange I will just live vicariously through yours. Although I am really digging that gorge blue...

    those drawers are so ooh and aah. i saw a similar to the orange one in london but it was really bright red with golden details. yummy
