found these images today and they had me stroking the high hard one. enjoy.
i know yesterday i said too much blue is not the greatest...but the above makes me question that sentiment. it's so pretty it's glowing.

You're hilarious! Love the kitchen with the black tiles! The green ottoman in the bottom picture is pretty awesome too!

Steven Gambrel is one of my biggest design crushes... Looking at his stuff makes me aware that great interior design really is a high art. I love how he can really highlight art... so many of his interiors feature amazing photographs or paintings...and it looks to me like he designs the room around the art instead of the other way around. I'd love to be able to do that!

lilah, you're so right! he is an artist. i would love a week with him as a fly on the wall...or intern or something...imagine what you could learn.

I want to look at your post again and again. Great collection of Steven Gambrel rooms. Hopefully some design greatness will rub off just by looking.

hi - I was talking in generalities about the obnoxious cost of things in Bruges. not YOU per se- I understand what you meant about copies = I just used you becuase you mentioned going there. I get it, got it. sorry if you took offense, it wasn't intended at all.
