i have never been a fan of these big, modern houses. they look sort of like a cold museum to me. don't get me wrong they are beautiful...just not home-y. i like home-y. but something about this one in this setting intrigues me. it's like country mouse and city mouse are having a party. and with windows and views like that....what's not to love?

Reminds me of Cameron's parents' house in Ferris Bueller - beautiful, but hate to touch anything. Still, the view IS stellar.
A white castle in the middle of an enchanted forest?
I think the mix of more casual furniture brings this down to size, so to speak. Usually these massive odes to modernism contain equally stark and slick furnishings...you know, all chrome and black leather and such. This looks liveable. And the setting is gorgeous!
I find it a bit cold but really beautiful. Modern homes are one of those things I like to look at in a magazine but I wouldn't want to live in, and I think that's OK. I don't think I have to want to live there to appreciate it.
mausoleum style - not for me... good views however.
Reminds me of Edward Cullen's house: http://astheticsense.com/article.asp?articleid=43061&Locations-favourite-The-Cullens-house-from-Twilight
It is pretty spectacular, but it does seem a bit cold for such a warm and cozy setting!
Vote for me today - will ya?!
xo xo
The views are amazing!!
And by the way - I like the new profile pic!!
Reminds me of the house in the beetlejuice movie on the outside with those randomly placed walls. I do think the decor homey-s it up a bit. But I'm not sure what's going on with that astroturf looking carpet in the living room though...
I just spend hrs on your blog. I love it and can't wait to come back! Awesome!
GIRL! This house gives me a "lady boner" is it?
I would do anything to live here...I am not into big but for this I will make an exception!
My heart has stopped, darling. Just stopped :)
