for some reason i get excited when the garnet hill catalog arrives. not sure why, it's usually a bunch of mom clothes and ugly sheets or cute stuff i can't afford (i'm talkin to you eileen fisher bedding), but i do. though i was somewhat pleasantly surprised with the latest fall/winter catalog. particularly this coat. it looks warm. but then i looked again....
and thought she looked a little like one of these:
what do you think? cute? or grub worm?

i'd go with your second intuition. you put that thing on, and suddenly you're attacking the roots of turfgrasses and ornamental plants
Ummmm. Maybe not so cute. Give it a pass.
I like it! It would be that rare coat that was ultra warm and still hourglass-enhancing. And it's silver! I think the thing that's not working is the scarf. It makes it look like the grub is puking something up.
Um... Gross. The coat is kinda cute, the bugs are not.
Dangerously close to Michelin man territory.
shut up! noooo i have never heard of pearl river. where have i been. you are my new best friend. they have foo dogs too. lots of great stuff! thanks!
hahaha "say it don't spray it."
don't love the coat. i wont say what it reminds me of. but it isn't the bugs. it is unique if that is what you are going for.
grub worms fo'shizzle.
I'd go with cute grub worm, but I'm kind of weird.
Hahaha! You're sick! I love it!
ps...not loving the coat.
that is NOT a cute coat. It might look sort of not horrible on that skinny bitch in the picture (no offense to skinny bitches), but put it on a real woman and somebody would throw ropes around her and toss her in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
grubs definitely! I despise puffy coats!
Good pick up - that coat is so very wrong!
Don't really love the coat. It kind of looks like those "practical" coats that your mom bought you when you were in junior high, when you really wanted a cute peacoat or something...
And ewwww.....
