as some of you may or may not know, i love rita konig. this is an apartment in NY she did for someone and i think it is exceptionally nice. don't you? points of interest: turquoise leather chairs, pink velvet pillows, shaggy rug, ebonized floors, shiny gold lamp in far right corner, and earthy potted plants..

awesome room...it's kinda funny how she says the pink pillows would have done all the work without the turquoise chairs, but it totally makes sense!
I absolutely love Rita Konig and can't get enough of her work and words — those short posts on The Moment's blog always feel like a bit of a tease. The Ikat fabric and pink cushions gorgeous.
The cushions ARE gorgeous, rather. Sigh. It's early.
even if i had balls, mine wouldn't be big enough to pull off all those patterns. yet they look divine. i need those turquoise leather chairs though....NOW!!!!!.xo, katie
Great room, xv.
I love this series by RK.
The print fabric on the chair might be an idea for your recent Craigslist score.

She does have a way doesn't she!? Such a glorious mix of pattern and textiles and a beautiful play of colors. Seems totally effortless and not at all contrived. Love it!
I always like to see what the Domino alumnus are up to. Not surprising that its pretty great, hadn't seen this yet thanks for posting.
