bar inspiration

extremely pumped about my bar. here are some things that told me they want to live on it..

every bar needs a cool tray. this vintage orangey red lacquer serving tray from pip and estella decided right away that she would look awesome on the black and white bar with shiny brass rings..and she is cheap...26 bucks. done.

not sure if this ice bucket will work with the orange tray but i really really love it and he said that he would sit happily underneath until he is needed, quietly. he is only 28 dollars. hmmm...
from katie armour's etsy shop...

every bar needs monogrammed cocktail napkins. the black is chic. from here.

and while i know these aren't technically cocktail glasses, they would be super appropriate for my gin gin mule's come spring. also from katie armour!!

these teak tumblers said they needed to be on the bar to introduce a natural element to the shiny lacquery watery icy golden sparkly mix. they're right..

good for olive pits or lemons and limes...you're coming too black bowldish!

and you look like a healthy vagina...you're DEFINITELY invited. i shall put toothpicks in you.

pitchers for when i make a batch of goodness.. eddie ross is selling this one for 60 bucks. too rich for me but it is lovely.

this one is very charming too and much more affordable for me at 26 dollars. can't you see bright red sangria in it??

and of course a bar isn't really a bar without the pretty booze bottles like st. germain.

grey goose...(for you raina!)

and a nice leaded crystal decanter for wine..

going to get the last bit of priming and sanding done today so tomorrow i can start the painting process!! can't wait to show you..

cocktail and vagina cheers,
jenny

That is so weird, just before coming to visit you I was poking around in Armour's fab etsy shop and bookmarked that golden salmon-bellied seashell. Straaaange! Are you really buying everything or just virtual shopping? BTW, love the tray, teak tumblers, and the snazzy ice bucket. Have you ever been to Queen of Hearts up in Buford? It's an antique mall and they have lots of great bar outfitting goods.

Can't wait to see it all together..you need to have a cocktail party to break in the new bar cart. Let me know when so I can plan a trip to Atlanta!

Now that you have secured your hardware - can you reveal your double secret source for that deliciousness? I know your style is gone, but surely there is more to love??

The healthy vagina dish is my favorite! I'll have a boring glass of white wine, thanks.

{ And what on earth does the coded message from Erika mean? }

Excuse me, but where is the tequila?? You can't make margaritas without it! Milagro is a good one...

Your bar cart is coming along swimmingly! Can't wait to see it when it's all done.
And I love the ice bucket with that tray - they can totally go together!

Please tell me you're going to monogram those coasters with letters to spell out rude words.

And YAY! for my lick-her.

I thought of you while watching 30 Rock last night, because Jack Donaghy's office has a killer bar cart. LOVE that orange/red tray, by the way. Your taste is killer.

If that is what a "healthy vagina" looks like...I gotta get myself to the gynie like pronto! Do you think they can gold plate my labia while I'm there?

I have nothing nasty to contribute, sadly; I'm just laughing my vaj off at the other guests... getting my daily dose. LOVE the goodies. Expect cock & tails very soon. XO

HAHA---I LOVE IT. My fiance John and I joked about how that conch shell dish, despite is fabulousness, did somewhat resemble a vagina. Perhaps I ought to add that to the item description... Thanks for the shout out! What can I say? You're the best... XO Katie

I hope you don't mind if I copy cat and get those napkins. I am so totally in love with them! Also, I might point out that vaginas don't like toothpicks very much... just sayin' :-)

Waiting with baited breath to see your fabulousness at work!!!

The tray and ice bucket, hell all of it looks amazing. I think I might just need to drink with you.

Love that ice bucket, I think my Gram had one... wish I knew what happened to it.

The cut crystal decanter is for booze honey, not wine. Fill it with whisky, pronto!

My new fave St. Germaine cocktail:
2 parts gin
1 part St. G
juice of half a lemon (sans pips)
shake over ice, strain into a martini glass
Mmmmmmm.....
Rinse & repeat

My bar, that is now sitting in the garage due to grabby toddler paws, definitely needs monogrammed bev naps. Love!
