there's not much better than...

the feminine simplicity of this console table used as a bar cart...

a grown up version of pink and purple..

a big fucking bucket of peonies in front of a window in paris...

via this is glamorous.

Ugh, the first and second have been pulling at my heart strings for a long, long time. In fact, I was just yesterday thumbing through the Domino issue of the Paris apartment (seriously) and had that very thought, "there's nothing much better than a big fucking bucket of peonies in front of a window in Paris!" ;0)

Oopsie, first and third, although the second is awfully pretty.

I need an extra house like Martha, to do the pink. Then we could all hang out there secretly.

Gah. I think swimming in a bucket of peonies would be the only way for me to cure my winter sads today. But these images do their best to help.

I just love that you called it a big fucking bucket! But yes, the first table is giving me all kinds of inspiration.

Looking forward to seeing yours!

Love, love, love, especially the small table in the first photo. Say doesn't the piece in the Paris photo look like the console table you spied recently on craiglist? I say the peonies in a big bucket vignette could be recreated in front of a window in Hotlanta very soon.
