dear spring and summer (an open letter):

dear spring and summer,
hi. i hope you can hear me from australia or wherever the fuck you are..look, they (the australians) are probably well tired of your muggy ass and are wistfully thinking of roaring fires and hot, steamy cups of whatever..

but we here in the US of muthafuckin A (and probs france, sweden, and the rest of europe too) are dreaming of warm sun on our cheeks (either ones), soft grass under our feet, prosecco in the garden...

a shady place to hide...

a cool, quiet nook to listen to birds or unicorns..

open doors and white painted floors...

fresh strawberries that don't taste like my butt..

summer...sinks..

meals outside...

a walk in the country after a summer shower...
(to get your mail...and everyone else's)

lilacs, DUH!!!!!

the beach...

and this beach house especially with its black and blue awesomeness...

what about a lakehouse, spring and summer? don't you want me to go to a lakehouse with friends and drink wine and eat food all day followed by swims and campfires?

i would sleep here. i am always the smartest when it comes to room picking at share houses. look at those black shades. that means darkness in the morning...

see? that house wouldn't be so awesome if it was 32 degrees outside.
nor would this chair and peachapplepearorange?? tree..

ok spring and summer i hope i have helped you to understand how important it is for us americans and europeans to be warm soon. we are pretty powerful nations and after an overly long winter and too much fucking snow i daresay we are becoming dangerous. ever heard of cabin fever? yeah. it fucking sucks dingdongs.

My jaw dropped with the two images before the loo...that is my kind of space...seriously..I am going to have to file those images and save them for when we build the "one day house".

The grey clouds seem to be hovering over our sun today...you must have got things moving! ; )

The sun came out yesterday and is continuing to shine on today. I'm not sure if it realized how much I missed it and how much I love it. I truly do love it. Hopefully my dear friend Sun meets you soon!

If you want the heat - you can have it! I'm in West Australia and dripping in 38C weather. I own a boutique and am unpacking Winter Stock! Woolies and 38C don't mix. Dreaming of Autumn leaves, rain, cocoa and chocolate.....

Girl, Sunday, Sunday it's coming. Just keep your fingers crossed that it will stay and it is not some mean, mean teaser with more fucking snow to follow. Seriously, I've put up with our horrid summer humidity which wreaks havoc on my curly fro all my life, but I refuse to deal with anymore of this ridiculous snow.

Aaah, prosecco in the garden...

{pssst, thanks for the link love}

ok, you're killing me. i'm headed to utah later today, where it's snowing! these images are so beautiful. i want that beachhouse.

I could not agree with you more. I can't stand all of this crap weather. We're supposed to get to 67 on Sunday. Don't think I haven't started picking out a sun dress to wear. But we'll see if the forecast is actually correct. The weather people have about a 1% accuracy rating.

Love the pics.

Dear Jenny, On behalf of Australia, I hereby give you our summer. Take it. I'm sick of it. My armpits are sweaty and there is dusty hot air everywhere. Give me your crisp breeze and frosty front lawns, bitches. I'll take it all! Sincerely, Kristy
