gimme

i want this room. i want those fabric covered walls, the matching headboard and bedskirt and those porthault linens, those lamps...all of it! it looks like the most perfect bedroom ever for lounging around sunday morning reading magazines, the paper and eating chocolate croissant with delicious coffee. followed by tickles with fiona and then a gigantic poop.
don't you desperately agree with me?
do you think the fabric covered everything is too granny? too much? a dust nightmare? (probably yes to that last one which in reality would be a major issue for my OCD's)

I sort of love/hate it. Love the idea, colors, etc., love the poop, not so sure about the total sum...a little headachy, but I love it, too.

I love it. I really truly do. It would be too much without the PURE pure white Porthault sheets. Just tuck me in and leave me a macaroon on the bedside table and I am in heaven.

I love it as well. It has a lot going on but it works. Works well. I like the lights on the nightstands - I really need some new ones and these are pretty cool! great blog! your comments and f bombs are awesome!

those orange pops totally keep it from going bad. I'm not a wallpaper gal but I did like this paper...fun

I agree. Totally loved this French lady's British digs in ED. All the pattern might make my head hurt after a while, so I might just go for the upholstered headboard and forgo the wallpaper. I'm so boring.

I seriously may be contacting you soon to employ your CL skills in my quest for a hallway light fixture. I'm just not having any luck on my own!

While I certainly can appreciate from afar...I couldn't live with it..all that pattern in my sanctuary would make me edgy, and the CC wouldn't want that...

I love it, for someone else's house! I actually think its pretty, and cool and all that... but maybe a little juvenile for adults? Would be cool as a teens room, or a kids?

I think it would be sweeet for a teenager, but as is it's too much for me. I would have gone for upholstering the walls or the playful headboard, just not both. I think the headboard gets lost in the busy wallpaper. I don't know, just can't seem o get onboard with this one. Too much of a good thing.

Don't know if I could handle all the matchy matchy, BUT I'm loving the space.. it's the colors I'm thinking! xo

I can appreciate the aesthetic, and if a client asked my to design something similar, I would happily comply.

And I love it for you, Babycakes.

P.S. You just run the vacuum upholstery attachment over the walls a couple of times a year.

I love. My favorite is the dust ruffle, it made me realize I don't have a dust ruffle, and maybe at this point in my life I should try and attain one.

I have finally met a woman who randomly works "fart" and "poop" into conversations even more often than I do.

Love the print and I think there is too much of it. I could do it if maybe the headboard was a solid color - maybe a lovely aqua taken from the aqua flower in the print. Otherwise, rock on.

Sounds like a heavenly recipe to me...maybe add a mimosa or three.

Don't know if you even noticed (and how could you with the 10,000 shoes + junk piled everywhere!), but my MIL's bedroom had matching wallpaper, headboard fabric, scone shades, and upholstered chaise. It's a little much for me. But, like Raina, I love it for YOU.

It really is the perfect bedroom for lazy Sundays. I wish I had a house big enough for a room for each day of the week- how fun would that be?

I'm all over the matching headboard/bedskirt thing we see goin' on everywhere, but the walls covered in the same fabric is a bit much for me. Still, I see the appeal.

It's got the Bed Bath & Beyond "Bedding in a Bag!" matchy-matchy look.

The first time I saw this room, I was smitten with it too! It has a both a funky and sophisticated vibe. Except for the pictures taped on the wall...please!

I think it also needs some editing, at least for a mag photo!

Some of the stuff takes away from the stars of the room which are the walls, bedskirt and the orange blanket!!!
