readers, you must pluck and squeeze with a magnifying mirror! my mom has one and every time i go to her house i get my squeeze on and it is righteous. you can see hairs and blackheads that no ordinary mirror can pick up. it is soooooooooooo satisfying. and all of you pick and pluck haters can just stop reading. i mean what do you care if i pluck my eyebrows bald and make my skin scar?!?! it's my skin!!!! and you would be right, damn you. but i am willing to bet that for most of us it is just. too. fun. to. ever. stop.
now you can go for one of these fancy models (all from restoration hardware) and by all means, if you have the means...they ARE beautiful.

You come from a long line of pluckers and pickers my beautifully groomed daughter. You have no choice, I'm sorry to say.
Being the over-plucker and the over-tweezer that I am, the magnifying mirror is making everything all the more irresistibly pluckable and tweezable. Sometimes I scare myself: will there be any of me left when I'm done?
OMG! Can I confess that one of my all-time fave pastimes is to "de-gunk" the blackheads on my husband's nose? Is that waaaay more gross than picking at yourself - probs.
Oh, also - IKEA makes a decent accordian-arm model. You know, priced not at, but closer to your dollar store purchase than the RH versions. Just FYI.
I can't have one of these in my bathroom or I become a picker. I'm a plucker, but being a picker is something I don't aspire to.
A grinner? Why, yes! Don't mind if I do.
I was going to say what littlehappyplace said. Ikea has one and it's cheap and really not that bad looking. I used to have it until I learned that these things are dangerous for people like me.
