lamps and end table!!
lamps!
loved your comment over at decorno about restoration....love your outlook...speak that truth sista.
I just about choked on my coffee when I saw those chairs are in the town I'm in! Now all I have to do is fight the urge to buy them and ask the seller if i can pick them up rather than ship them across town.
the lamps. for shizzle.
Oh... oh god... the mid century nightstands need to be in my bedroom this instant. Too bad I'm nowhere near staring on that room yet.
Let's just run away together and start a house full of it. I'll cook, you clean
Digging the lamps.
shut up! those midcentury nightstands are dying to be given a coat of glossy paint, say ivory or rust, and stored in my back room until the master bedroom is finished.
Check the sellers' reps. The seller of the Lane cabinet has a bad feedback record. On eBay, you can take a risk with a small item (under $50-75), but a big expensive piece of furniture? You need to deal with someone reputable.
I love those HR nightstands! I'd paint them some color bright and shiny!
that's weird anon..i went and looked and there were only a few negative comments about that seller but several positive ones. are you sure you have the right seller? just asking.
I was going by the positive-feedback percentage: 98.2%. In the last year, the seller had 950 ratings and 17 negatives = 98.2%.
In the listing, after the seller's name, it will give the positive-feedback percentage, then you'll see the question "How is feedback percentage calculated?" Click on that question and you'll the actual numbers used to get to the percentage.
For big purchases, I try to stick with sellers whose ratings are 99% and above. Just my rule of thumb. And I like to look at what the negatives are complaining about: Shipping costs? Misleading description? Bad condition of item? etc. I look to see if patterns of badness emerge.
Chairs and cabinet are frippin awesome. That is all.
Small correction:
In the listing, next to the seller's name is a number representing the total no. of feedback ratings they've received. In this case, it's 1163. Click on THAT. Then you'll see "Positive Feedback (last 12 months)." In this seller's case, that's 98.2%. (Not impressive). To the right is the question "How is Feedback Percentage calculated?" Click on that and you'll find out the specific numbers (17 negatives in the last 12 months, etc.).
omg I love those lamps! too bad I have zero room for an extra pair.
What great finds, I really like that bench. It would be hot in my house!
I LOVE those nightstands! I'd love to see them lacquered in bright white or black.
That cane sofa is going for how much?? I've never bought anything on ebay but I swear you're going to change all that.
couchy couchy -
love it, elegant, stately, retro, great style
chairs! chairs!!
I bid on those HR night stands after your post and just found out that I won them! Thanks for posting them - I have been looking for night stands for our bedroom and with a few coats of paint I think these will be perfect!
