I LOVE IT! It looks great and you did a great job. But hey, can you go back and take a quick pic (even with bad light of the whole thing with the pic above it?) thanks.

Love it. But rreeaallyy love photo #6 of N BB in the background lounging and looking at you with...that look they give. I also have a N BB named Choo Choo. She frightens children and old people.

Beautiful! I love all of it. Now when can I come over for a drink? :)

LindsB said...

I have no words, I am in love- I want to sneak into your house and take this ninja style for my own house :)

I am going to search every thrift store in a 50 mile radius to get my own.

totally rad. good job!! That hardware is hotness. hey- what color is that wall behind it?

A Perfect Gray said...

looks great. hardware rocks. the blue/green pottery collection s'good there. I was just looking at an organic wooden tray/piece like you have there; love those. and could that be a GRAY wall there?

MFAMB said...

wall color = ralph lauren "forde abbey"

Marija said...

Love it, love the 5 minute styling too, actually. Really really really love the room with the pretty morning light. Nice. Marija

so cute! you did a beautiful job. I especially love the bowl of lemons and the Bombay Sapphire underneath. Yes, Bombay Sapphire, don't think I didn't spy your naughty self under there. And now I will be drinking you at 5:30 with some tonic and a wedge of lime.

sketch42 said...

GORGEOUS!!! Good job! The hardware is perfect.

boops said...

i have to admit i wasn't crazy about the hardware at first but it looks great on the cart, job well done.

if there is a little recess or indentation below the top, some shallow battery operated puck lights can maybe light the bottom shelf.

Jessica said...

love, love, love it - the hardware really makes it into something totally new!

and you could try draging a lamp in there from another room just to get more light when you take pics

I'm in the middle of posting photos of my kitchen makeover and will have the final reveal up tomorrow ...

Tears of bitter envy. My local craigslist only has amish and shitastic colonial knockoffs.

I think you should plant one of these in your garden since for some reason, I thought of you when I saw them.

Gorgeous!
How about puck lights? you could easily hide them and NO cords!

Oh, I wish you could come play at my house. It could use your touch.

Unknown said...

It's gorgeous! ( and so is the rest of your place ).

jennifer said...

tis gorgeous! I like that entry 1,000 times more than before! care for a drink? don't mind if I do!

littleshop said...

It looks great! I'd put the drinkies on top though- easier access, plus the height of some bottles would help to connect the print above to the bar. you need an orchid or some paperwhites (they smell bad, though). I'll go get you one. Impressive!

MFAMB said...

little shop- i am not a fan of just one orchid on a surface...i think it looks too designer-y staged. and when i have a party i will move the drinks up top. i don't need little hands tipping over bottles. thanks though.

Unknown said...

It looks beautiful. What a find.

ModFruGal said...

Looks great...nice job...since you have the outlet under there you could discreetly hide a rope light underneath and hide the cord with a tall bottle...but it's great as is.

It looks awesome, well done!!

Long-time reader. First-time commenter. Love the cart and your blog. I have a similar tray, some lemons and bottle of Sapphire gin but sadly lack everything else. I covet the drawer pulls!

Good gawd - it's even better than I imagined it would be (not that I doubted anything) that hardware...SMOKES.

Bailey @ peppermintbliss said...

Love it. Those rad pulls totally make it...I would totally come drink with you. How good do you feel that you saved that sad little piece of forgotten furniture and made it sparkle? It says Thank You, I can tell.

Ok, let me begin by saying that I am a guy (husband of My Interior Life) and have been reading and enjoying your blog. It's funny. I actually can appreciate interior design, and enjoy your writing (in particular your choice use use of words like fuckin', balls, and vagina). Pour yourself a drink to celebrate your awesomeness. It's fab-ULOUS...

P.S. where's the vagina dish?

Kimberly Knoess said...

I love it! I wouldn't have thought of the dark top with the white, but it looks terrific and the drawer pulls are drool-able!

Great job!!! Have you considered adding a small lamp on top - you know, for more light in the cave?

And I love the morning sunlight picture, it's beautiful. Makes me want to curl up in that sunshine!

Also, is it wrong that I want closeup of the liquor?

Hey MFAMB!

This is totally off topic, but thought you might want to know-- DSW at Atlantic Station has some black boots on clearance that are a lot like the ones you blogged about awhile back, but a lot cheaper.

Might be worth checking it out--
