monday color combo

a while back i did a monday color combo using green and black saying i loved the chicness of it and the fancy pants sexiness of it. this color combo is different for me. opposite really. duh. chic it is, but this combo is more preppy than sexy. but it certainly isn't limited to the preppy vibe. in fact i adore the sage greens and the seafoam greens. i feel the sage greens and white work well in a country interior, like english manor house. while the seafoam and white works best in the beach house...don't you agree? still i think my favorite are the chalky whites with the kelly greens, distressed wood works just as well for me as lacquered and shiny. i want a green door too somewhere. although i am battling it out in my head between a sunny yellow front door and kelly green. so, happy green and white monday.

Perfect. Just perfect. I have a set of shutters I haven't known what to do with...maybe I can put together one of those idea boards using them...tres clever!

Okay, you did it! I have never been a green fan, but this color combo won me over...I'm putting a green door and that outdoor patio with the Barcelona chairs/green pillows on my wish list!

So many gorgeous images! This ties in to my current post very nicely I think!

I really love a green and white colour scheme in a garden - I think it looks so fresh and restful.

Love that color combination, especially the shutters over the desk.
