lazy sunday reflections

i believe a lot of people consider sunday to be a great day for reflection and deep thought....i do too.

1. this room sucks.

2. green is the new peacock blue.

3. if you are an interior decorator and a client says she wants a sexy bedroom consider going in this direction. it is mad sexy without being literal.

4. the new h&m spring stuff is perfection. i am getting this dress for starters.

5. this book is surprisingly more chic than shabby. i like the new direction.

6. washing your glass bottle collection is grotesquely satisfying.

(so is drinking wine while you do it)

7. the perfect amount of animal for this room and no other.
don't forget the globes tonight. and then the recap tomorrow.
holla.

I skipped over shabby chic interiors today simply for the title thinking it wouldn't be my style... I may have to give it a second chance.

That's a dress? On me it would probably not cover my butt. I WOULD wear it with jeans though. Do you mind if I get one too? We don't live in the same country so we don't have to worry about wearing it on the same day.

Have you seen the post at Toby et al? Don't sign a check with a tampon-it's pee your pants hilarious you have to check it out.

Firstly I nearly pee'd my pants when I saw that first line + photo. Too funny. And I ADORE that white dress. xx

If I washed dishes while drinking vino I would break them all. I'm already ridiculously clumsy. It's pitiful! As far as green goes...YES!

LOL... For some reason, I'm completely unable to wash glass bottles without them looking all greasy and shitty. So I leave it to the dish washer... And I agree, Kelly green is fabulous!!

Have a great Monday! (and how were the Globes yesterday??? I'm in a completely different time zone, so have to see it today :))

Your first thought was so spot on and so funny...thanks

I am assuming that the drinking of wine whilst ocd-ing the glass bottles means it is not the cause of the rash? Which would be good cause that was seriously making my heart hurt for you.

Hi friend of friends.
I'm seeking your design help mostly because you say fuck.

We're painting our master bath. It's lame city. The floor is white tile, the cabinets are white and the walls are still builders white. There is a window in it.My bedroom is gray and white. Please inform me of a color for this bathroom.

thank you free help.

Looks like I'll have to snatch up a copy of the new Shabby Chic then after all. And that bedroom is sexy.

you are onto something with the green (i never really got into the whole teal/peacock blue hue anyway) and let me just say that h&m garden collection better be available in europe or else.

Totally agreed on #3... so deeply sexy... way more than a french boudoir blah blah! I hope you are right on #2 as I love green more than i can say!

I am excited to check out the shabby chic book... great to hear it's not too far on the "shabby" side!
